Made To Only Read.

DRE Pro is written, tested and supported by Data Engineers, a team of engineers who have spent years around drives that stopped working. The idea behind it is old-fashioned and strict: a recovery tool should never make a bad day worse.

Make in India — Powered By Data Engineers. The interface speaks 11 languages.

An open hard disk with its platter and read arm

The First Rule Of Recovery Is Do No Harm

A lost file is not gone. It is sitting in space the drive thinks is free. The surest way to lose it for good is to write something new into that space and plenty of "fix it" tools do exactly that: they repair the file system, rebuild the index or save recovered files right back onto the same drive.

DRE Pro is built the other way round. It opens the drive for reading only. It refuses to save onto the drive it is scanning. When a drive is weak, it tells you to copy it to a disk image first and scan the copy, so the drive is read once instead of again and again.

It also means DRE Pro will never offer to "fix" your drive in place. Your files first, the drive later. We think that is the right trade.

Four Things We Will Not Bend On

We Show You Before You Pay

The scan and the preview are free. You see every file and its mark, Good, Risky or Overwritten, before a rupee changes hands.

Your Files Stay On Your Computer

Nothing is uploaded. No file, no file name and no preview is sent to us. You do not even need an account to scan.

We Never Write To Your Drive

DRE Pro only reads the drive it recovers from and refuses to save files back onto it.

We Say When It Is Gone

If a file was overwritten, we tell you. No recovery company can bring back what has been written over and we will not pretend to.
